New perspectives: Open information day on depression for those affected, their families, and anyone interested

When? Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 4–6 p.m.

Where? University main building (auditorium), Fürstengraben 1, 07743 Jena

Depression is a widespread disease—one in three people experience depressive symptoms at least once in their lifetime. But what does that actually mean? And what can be done about it?

We cordially invite you to two informative hours on the topic of depression. You can expect:

  • Comprehensible information about the symptoms and causes of depression
  • Insights into treatment and research
  • The opportunity to talk to experts

Our experts Prof. Dr. Ilona Croy, Dr. Patrick Lipp, Dr. Pavol Mikolas, Dr. Karl-Jürgen Bär, and Dr. Fabian Rottstädt, as well as other specialists at the information stands, will provide information on various topics related to depression and will be available for personal discussions and questions during the event.
