German Center for Mental Health: Expansion funding launched
Mental illnesses are among the most common and particularly debilitating widespread diseases.

The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space will provide a total of €17.3 million over the next five years for research projects in Halle, Jena, and Magdeburg that investigate the development of mental illness. The aim of the research is to gain a detailed understanding of these diseases in order to improve care and prevention.
